Eve 13: New Beginnings!

What is more fitting for the new year than a challenge about new beginnings.

2008 is a whole new year, full of endless possibilities. What are your goals for the year? A particular Resolution that you are trying the hardest to keep? Have you already broken a resolution (I know I have).

Perhaps you would like to focus on a new beginning outside of the start of a new year: the birth of a child, a new puppy, first day of school? Perhaps you are just trying new things, new recipes, new vacation spots...the possibilities are endless!

Here's what we came up with:

SarahColleenNicole

We would like to take a minute to say goodbye to Aimee, who has left us for bigger and better things. We are going to miss you, but we hope that you'll join us for the odd challenge or two! And good luck with everything!

This week, our challenge is sponsored by Hillary Hayden and her fabulous Etsy shop: The Cutting Edge.
The winner of this challenge will receive this fabulous prize pack from her shop. Thank you so much Hillary!!
So, what about you?
What new beginnings do you want to celebrate in your life?

Post a link of your work in the comments section, and we'll put it in our gallery for everyone to oooh and aaah over. Or, send us a copy by email. Please submit all work by by Saturday January 26th. We'll select our favorites and a winner from those received; and post them here on Sunday January 27th.

(Note: unless you state otherwise, we will assume that by sending us your work or linking to it in the comments section, you give us permission to display it on this blog or in a linked gallery.)

Challenge #12 - Hindsight

Hindsight may be a wonderful thing…
I mean, how many times have you said to yourself,
“if I’d only known then, what I know now…”

Perhaps with the benefit of hindsight you might have saved yourself money… perhaps embarrassment. Or maybe you’d simply have done things differently... taken more care… been more carefree…

Our ideas can be seen below - and now we’re turning our challenge over to you!

Tell us what you’d have done differently; tell us why. Share those moments of hindsight with your fellow woman. Hell - we even want to know if you'd do it all again...! Lol!

This week, we are joined by the uber talented Anilu Magloire!
Take a minute to meet our fabulous guest Eve please.

I am 35, a SAHM and have been married for almost ten years. I have a gorgeous four year old girl, named Natalia, whose adorable face is on most of my pages... I am from Mexico City originally, and we moved to beautiful Miami four years ago, thanks to the hubby's job. I got into scrapbooking watching DIY of all things, and I have been hooked ever since. I even dream about layouts I want to make, so as you can see, I am very obsessed with this wonderful hobby of ours! I like clean uncluttered pages and I have a torrid love affair with white space.

Here's Anilu’s take on the challenge, and what a fantastic layout it is!

The Eve's:

Work In Progress kit club. And one lucky winner is going to receive a gorgeous kit from WIP! If you haven’t checked out Trish’s club yet now is the time – these kits ROCK big time! Thanks Trish for being our Super Sponsor this challenge!

So, take some time to reflect, then post a link in the comments section to lead us to your work... or, send us a copy by email. Please submit all work by by Saturday December 8th. We'lll select our favourites, and a winner from those received; and display them on
Sunday December 9th.

(Note: unless you state otherwise, we will assume that by sending us your work or linking to it in the comments section, you give us permission to display it on this blog or in a linked gallery.)

Challenge #11: Love your body!

Body image is something that most women have problems with, isn't it ladies? How many of us like what we see in the mirror? How many of us are comfortable in our own skin?

Well, now is the time to get over that...celebrate yourselves, ladies! Is there a particular part of your body that you love? Have you always been comfortable in your own skin? Are you just beginning to love the way you look? Or, are you still wrestling with it?

Tell us!

This week, we are joined by the lovely Tessa Ann Watté!
Take a minute to meet her, won'tcha?
Hi there! First of all…..I want to say that I am extremely honored to be your guest designer this month J

My name is Tessa Ann Watté. I am 28 years old. I live in beautiful Bend, Oregon with my sweet husband, Steven of 8 years. Starting our family is the next chapter in our lives, so for now we have 2 fur babies, Mozart and Annie. They are great scrapping company. Ha!

I was introduced to scrapbooking 3 years ago, after I received a fun basket of brightly colored papers and stickers as a birthday present. That was it. I was immediately in love. Since that day this fun hobby has quickly become my personal outlet to express myself in a creative way and also preserve memories at the same time. I currently design for Tinkering Ink, Junkitz and FiberScraps and love having the opportunity to play with new products.

After working the last 10 years in the medical office industry, I am content that I can now just work part-time at my local scrapbook store, "Scrapbooking Outside The Box" and surround myself even more with beautiful product and inspiring people. This last year I've started teaching classes locally in Bend, and I just came home a few weeks ago from teaching at Scrapbook Vacation Clubs in Daytona Beach Florida. Being wrapped in this wonderful hobby leaves me completely content!

You can see more of my work including projects and layouts on my blog :

See you around!!!
